Cultivating Love, Care, and Companionship on the Journey Toward End of
Life [You don't have to be actively engaged in end-of-life planning to attend.]
“Here To Honor”: Learn to face mortality with conventional and
Christian faith traditions in a cohort series of three workshops. We’ll
navigate the landscape of death and dying while cultivating community
along the way.
[If you're currently facing or have recently experienced loss, we encourage you to wait until more time has passed before joining a cohort as it is not uncommon for strong and unexpected feelings to surface during the program.]
TESTIMONIALS:
“I never thought learning about death could be so life-giving!”
“It was a surprisingly joyful experience where we came together as a
group to learn from each other and with each other. The cohort leaders
were knowledgeable, helpful, and guided the discussions so well!”
“I really enjoyed the flow, focus of information, and reflection/group time.
There was a great balance. I felt all leaders were well versed and
shared information in a way that many different types of personalities
and learners would be able to receive.”
“Instead of the single words ‘death’ and ‘mortality’, I now have a whole
landscape of concepts, tensions, and tools to work with. It’s the
difference between blanking in denial/reactivity and being able to really
be present, curious, and careful—with myself, and with others, when
this stuff comes up.”
