Join us for our Women’s Ministry monthly event where we explore the intersection of our faith and real world topics.
Our speaker will be Sally Han of Restore NYC. Restore NYC is a nonprofit organization making freedom real for survivors of human trafficking in the United States. Since 2009, Restore has helped 2,500 survivors and those at risk overcome trafficking. Restore helps survivors make freedom real by offering housing, economic opportunity, counseling and case management.
Sally Han is a licensed master social worker with a masters degree in Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University and is currently the Manager of Community Engagement at Restore NYC. Celebrating 15 years this year, Restore is an anti-trafficking nonprofit making freedom real for survivors of trafficking in the United States. With 8 years of experience under her belt in the anti-trafficking field, Sally inspires the community to be champions for survivors of trafficking. Sally first started as a case manager and then became the manager of the Client Services program at Restore. She is now currently overseeing volunteers, church and corporate partners, and external training for Restore, including educating partners and the public on what trafficking is and what trauma-informed best practices are.
